QUIBERON lies on the southern part of the Quiberon peninsula where the Bay of Quiberon meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is now primarily known as a seaside resort for French tourists during the summer as well as for its history of sardine production. While the Quiberon harbor rests in a small sheltered bay, on the western coast facing the Atlantic extends the "Côte Sauvage" - Wild Coast with a stretch of jumbled rocks sculpted by the sea and winds, ideally suited for long or short walks - and photography.

Hi Richard - thanks for the comment - the area is definitely worth a trip (and the food is excellent)!

Joe, I've never seen fish artfully displayed -probably many wonderful restaurants, as well. I love the sea, we don't have lots of water here in CO, so we go to the coast as often as possible.

Good work, Rowedean

Thanks jaymatt - as you have probably noticed, color is definitely my thing - maybe sometimes too much so!

Hi Rowedean - it is good to see you again on my series. And it is rather rare, but most of the "artfully displayed" fish were in France - and I love the sea also, even though I grew up in Switzerland, a land-locked country, I actually spent a good part of my live living in places close to the sea.
