i love it. lightweight. versatile. My wife has the Sony 6300. Really bad battery life. I am convincing her to switch to the M50. Better battery life (still not great...but much, much better than the 6300). Very pleased with the M50. As stated, i carry 2 cameras; one on shoulder sling (5D Mk iii/100-400 lens and the other on my belt M50/15-45mm. This is a potent combo that i have grown to love. I know others will point out other cameras, but i love Canons with Canon lenses. Great. Also, as stated, the ability to throw my big lens on the M50 relieves anxiety in case the 5D dies and obviates the need to carry a second camera body in my camera backpack.
