Challenge: "Wearin' O' the Green" 3/11-3/13/19

I've been collecting green apparel for a while because I figured it might be a challenge to find it when the time came. Can someone tell me who this is and any story behind the slogan? Hope it's not something that should be "bleeped"!

Just finished up this quilt. Had been in the cedar chest for a few years! Tree top is made with 1/2 square triangles. Even found backing fabric with the trees!

Thanks Tim.....it's a collection from a variety of stores & most likely were on sale! I like a good "green" bargain!

Appears no bleep is necessary Pat! Upon googling it......seems to have ties to "a great memorable quote from the Simpson movie." Came out of the mouth of Homer Simpson......looks like several times! Bob
