I do not think so. Check out this tattoo removal video on Phlearn, it seems to be a good method.

On second thought, after having watched the following video, it might work.

So I am not quite there with this one and will likely start my edit over because my layers are a mess and I am having issues with certain things...I want the smoke to be more like breath vapor so I need to do some research on creating that look, nothing I have in my stock files is working for me.

...and I promise eventually there will be other models. I am getting my method developed and refined first. I have to be sure I can replicate this look with success first. Struggling with the second one just reminds me to be patient and be thorough on my edits...I got in a hurry and really sloppy and it isnt quite reaching the mark for me.

How about this one on making your own fog brush:
https://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/how-to-create-your-own-fog-brushes-in-adobe-photoshop--cms-24792

Here is one note on snow I had in a Google doc (words are from the OP via pm awhile back):
http://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-435882-1.html
I did the snow with a very soft round brush set at various sizes and at a very low opacity so the result was fairly translucent. I used a white color just a bit lighter than the sky & snow. I repeated brushing in layers of the 'snow' until I got the thick and thin swirly snow I wanted. Then I used the clone tool and a larger brush at a very low opacity & circled it over the entire effect to blend in any visible hard edges. I cloned darker areas into lighter ones and visa versa if necessary.

Diane, Linda has given you a good steer on the method - and you’re making good progress. You should be able to find a more suitable breath brush online, there’s lots of free stuff out there. Alternatively you could make your own from a suitable image such as clouds and, again, lots of free tuts on brush making (I have a feeling Linda put something up a short while back). Always use a separate layer when trying these things so you can dump it if it’s no good.
Another way of achieving it may be to find a cloud image and use it directly, at reduced opacity.
Fog is one of the things that can be more difficult to get just right, so it’s realistic. Don’t worry if it takes a while, I’m sure you will get there.

Thanks Magnetoman. I have looked online for breath and fog etc and I can find minimal pictures but nothing has been helpful. I havent had time to try making the brush yet but I think that may be a good solution, or at least I am hopeful. Yes, separate layers or a new stamp layer that can be deleted, and apparently it is going to take a while...I am still dealing with tax prep paperwork and have another shoot from this past weekend with my Mom and Sister to edit. For the past several years I drag them out to a flower field and do pictures for Mother's Day gift to my Mom. My Sister will be traveling the entire month of April and I wanted to get something before she left, if I get more later fine but at least I am covered. Good thing we had some flowers!

PS Maybe I am not searching for the right terminology...breath vapor, does not bring up a great selection of anything. Any other suggestions on terminology to use would be great.

I typed "photoshop how to make breath." A photo of steam rising from a cup of coffee showed up and others. Haven't watched any:

I also remembered who it was I've seen use similar on UHH: Dave Chinn (I had thought magnetoman ). See one of Dave's here. He's not on UHH a lot anymore, but you could pm him.

Here is one from "photoshop how to make steam" search:

Phlearn.com definitely do a mist and fog tut, and it comes with a free brush that I’ve used with some success. Mist and fog is the search you need Diane.

Thanks I will take a peak at Phlearn too...he is quite helpful with his tutorials but sometimes charges for them. I dont make money, so I try to stay in the free zone whenever possible. This hobby gets expensive real fast if you arent careful.

A search for ‘free fog brushes’ will bring up brusheezy.com, who let you download quite an array of yummy looking fog brushes Diane. Hope this helps the quest.
