Bob, the app is called Expodev provided by Tiny Octopus. It's basically a program based on Phil Davis' work related to Beyond The Zone System. Once the initial data is established exposure and related processing are dead on.

I shot light trails tonight with this app....I was not impressed. Handheld shots looked terrible. The Slow Shutter app, on a tripod, does better light trails.

Sorry to hear that, but not surprised. There are limits to IBIS.
