I notice that the trade deficit with China has grown, not diminished under the Trump administration. How are those tariffs working out for you (and American maufacturing and farmers)? One of those pesky little facts...

Well our economy has sustained at a rate the financial guru Obama said "we'd Never see again", Unemployment is at 3.7%- and manufacturing is expected to outpace the economy in growth. Meanwhile China is experiencing its worst growth rate in 28 years, precisely what the intent was on the tariffs.

Thank you for your sincere concern, we are all, every one of us, touched by it.

Your buddy totally or almost totally nailed it!!
One of the few ways the average American would know & agree with these almost t***hs is by going abroad even if that is limited to say a weekend in Canada ---
There is one minor factual error --- "V****g for Trump" --- The majority of Americans did not!!!

And the E*******l College worked as the Founders intended. Poor snowflakes.

That used to be the case but now no-one calls round any more, it's all done electronically. You still a licence to watch any TV channels not just BBC.

Sometimes when I say "year" I should say "decade".
My last experience there was @ 1.5 decades ago.
My relative had a small antenna on the roof- with the cable obviously tied up and off.
The BIG one was in the attic.
The tax people had a list of area non-paying addresses, and routinely "visited" them.
All he needed to do was pull off a short cable with push on connectors. The TV was hooked up to a stereo, a DVD and a VCR. With a very large sloppy cable system.

Read a book.

States elect the POTUS.

I challenge you to find in the COTUS where you have a right to v**e for POTUS.

The 15th amendment states that the "right of citizens of the United States to v**e shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude". So when the colonies set a date for their p**********l e******n, the citizens v**e for him. Then the results of that v**e go to each of the colonies' convention and the duly elected representatives from each party cast their party's E*******l v**es for the P**********l race. So by inference, you could say that citizens can v**e for POTUS.

If all this is being submitted to further my education - Thanks but no thanks -- I also went to school -- I only added the information that our current President did not receive a majority of the popular v**e to clarify any misconceptions our British friends my have as how we in the States conduct our democracy
