You will need this in your camera bag, it is a guide for exposure with any camera in 'manual' mode. This is from Brooks Institute of Photography. The guide has one foot in the Sunny 16 rule and the other foot in years of practical photography. This guide has been around for decades, it took decades to compile the data and to verify it to be sure it is correct. I have found this guide to never be in error and from all practical purposes I keep a copy in my camera case; it is most likely the single most useful and practical accessory any and all photographers can have in their camera bag.

Here is a location that the complete guide may be down loaded to your computer , saved, then printed out so that you can have a copy in your camera bag. Remember, if it is not in your camera bag it serves no purpose.

Yes, I have seen this presentation of language as well. For a dyslexic I can state that I often read a written sentence and grasp the essentials from the words as structure. Be advised that often when a dyslexic person reads a sentence we loose certain meanings that are there because we miss read certain words and so miss the meaning that is part of the communication.

An example of this would be the art work by Marcel Duchamp from 1919 Fresh Widows as a title placed on the bottom edge of a miniature three dimensional object that looks like a set from a doll house French Windows.

Another extremely famous art work by Man Ray entitled Danger Dancer in which the graphics are so arranged by design as to defy a 100% meaning of either of the two the word 'danger' or 'dancer'.

I always get confused by this sort of response.

Someone is trying to be helpful. If it isn't of interest to you, why respond at all, especially with such a negative tone.

Really, who cares if you're not going to take some written guidance with you?

Alex, it's ok, People do this on the internet, it is just social media. The thing is you will find there are certain people who jump on everything that I post. Not saying this is one of them, I'm thinking of several on here. You will see that I do not respond to their counters. The thing with trolls is don't respond, ignore them. Trolling is a form of bullying, if you don't respond then it is worst that can be done to them. By not responding and acting like they don't exist is the greatest damage that you can do to them. In this case I think the post was due to his having a bad day because he mostly posts positive. Then again I could be wrong.

Any way, Alex, thanks for the positive and I hope that the Brooks Guide will help, it has helped me several times and that is what we all want!

Tim.

Nobody, but how in the heck did my response have a negative tone? He said, many folks should carry that around, it fits nicely in a bag, I said, thanks but no!
