These photos are simply awesome in download. Excellent work.
I wanted to take that hike when I was there in ’17, but my legs said not to even think about it. Happy that you posted these photos for me to see what might have been. Thanks again for posting these.
Such lovely images. I wanted so badly to do that hike, but my companion wasn't up for it. So I didn't get very far!

No problem. Even without a hike up the Virgin River, Zion was an amazing place for us.

I'm glad we plowed forward. I think all the people that were getting into the water at Sinawava made it appear doable. We hopped in and eventually found out that trek poles were our best friends. The deeper sections were poke/touchy/feely for hidden rocks, so a little slow going in spots while getting steady footing. Until we got to the Narrows there were long rocky "beach" sections that were dry and we made good time on. Everyone would cross the river to get to the next dry stretch. This would continue for about a mile+. In the Narrows, it was all water and lower body. The deepest water was up to the top of our thighs, about 3ft. If the water was waist deep, with the clothes we wore, I think we would have turned around.
Large bend in the river with a relatively easy crossing

Wow. Are there roads to the entrance of this?

There is a North/South park road but I think during most of the year only the Zion park busses drive it. Route 9 from the east side of the park ends at the park road. Neither of these roads takes you directly to this section of the river though. As far as I know, it's hike in only. But there are probably jeep routes to get to trails, you would need to contact local groups. Maybe Orderville Gulch gets you near.
