Anyone had any dealings with NewEgg? Their prices seem less expensive than B&H

Been buying stuff from them for years... through my son's account. I don't do internet transactions. Not ever been unhappy with their sales. Also use Shopbot.

Should have added that most of the stuff is computer related.

I understand them to have a good reputation, but, if you are buying camera gear from them or anyone else at lower prices then stores like B&H and Adorama be careful. Often times it is grey market.

Have bought computer-related, discs and software from them even back when they were "Old" Egg - good service & reputation. Would assume same on photo equipment but always verify US-warranty vs grey market with any price below average.

If by "Old" Egg you are referring to the long gone brick and mortar retail software chain, Egghead Software, there has never been any relationship between them and New Egg.

No, I wasn't, although Egghead Software did go bankrupt about the same time as NewEgg started and some have thought this was the new company. I just meant I have bought from them for at least 15 years, thus the jokingly reference to when they were an old egg.

Recently an advertisement was posted on CanonPriceWatch regarding a ondelk-day sale on a 5DIV offered from NewEgg. It was clearly stated that it was a grey market item.

https://www.cpricewatch.com/blog/2019/02/newegg-flash-5d-mark-iv-grey-market-for-1999-today-only/

As others have posted, Canon in the past may offer a one year warranty but it's entirely at their discretion with grey market. However they will offer to repair it for a price outside of warranty. They now charge state sales tax.

I once ordered an iPad from them. Price at the time was a little lower than elsewhere. I waited a month and it never showed up. I got refund in the end but I'd never deal with them again
