As with most things in life, try before you buy. I have owned a couple of Sigma lenses in the past, the last one was a 180mm f2.8 OS macro. Having owned a number of macro lenses, I can honestly state it was stunning. I would have no hesistation in buying Sigma lenses based on my previous experience. As for Ken; in my opinion he is an aquired taste. I have viewed a number of his videos and it appears the only job he hasn't tried his hand at is being an astronaut.

Never heard of him. With that being said, he sounds like a total DOUCHE. End on story. I will be sure not to look him up

DXOmark and just about every other reviewer disagrees, personally I own 5 of their lenses and they smoke their Canon counterparts, currently the Art line is actually better than Canon's L series but you need to be selective because this is not the case at every focal length and some of the older Arts have focusing issues, their latest releases seem to be using a different algorithm that has solved that issue.

Never heard of him, but I used to use Sigma lenses several years ago. When I switched to Canon lenses, I could see a difference in image quality. I prefer not to own third party equipment, period.

I bought my Fujifilm X-T2 and one of my Tamron G2 series lenses based on one of his videos. Have no regrets. Both items turned out to be winners for me anyways.

That ol boy is so engrossed in Nikon, that he doesn't like anything else. He does have some good hints and tricks, but he is an angry man.

The Angry photographer thinks Sigma is junk because they don't hold up over the long haul. They break because they are not that well made. He has never said the glass wouldn't give you a nice picture just the quality of manufacture.
