Thanks danersmiff for hosting a great challenge. Here is the end of my contribution to the challenge. Whenever I see these it takes me back to time of joy. I have them both.

Pg. 39 - Awesome that you still have your dad's musical instruments, Bob.

Do you play either of them?

Wonderful summary of your childhood memories Tim! Attached pictures give your words....a touching & meaningful life as a kid. Your words also remind me of similar moments in my own childhood which I've often described as my "Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn" period! Bob
Wonderful summary of your childhood memories Tim! ... (show quote)

Thank you, Bob, for the very kind comments, and I'm
glad you enjoyed the images and a little of my history.

Truth be told, mine was closer to Spanky and Our
Gang (Alfalfa, Buckwheat, Froggy, Darla...lol) than
it was to "Tom Sawyer & Huck Finn." We were in
the country like Tom and Huck, but we were dirt
poor like Spanky and his gang...funny though,
we really didn't know that at the time, because we
were so rich in so many other ways.

She is the gal keeping the Calendar going right now... (Sign up!)
And she sent me instructions on how to get it started...
She did not give me instructions on keeping track of the date, however.
The Horror !!

So, I kind of Stepped on Kat's "Little Things Challenge" (a day early)...
Kats kept her cool, and came on by with some posts here!!
Classy!!

Thanks Tim. A few months ago decided to see how many instruments in the house. Total of 9 plus double keyboard organ! I pluk with a guitar, not very good. Dad played rhythm I like lead. Youngest daughter has 2 violin,4 guitars and plays both very, very well. I taught my mother how to play Hammond key chord organ in 64-66. Thanks again.
