Hey everyone, this is my first time hosting a challenge, and I hope you like the subject!!
Do you have any--
Argyle socks or penny loafers? How about you ex ballerinas, got a tutu?
An old hot rod, heck a new old hot rod...
Yoo Hoo chocolate drinks?
R/C Cola and Moon Pies? An original VCR tape of American Graffiti?
How about some old Sinatra/Deano/SammyDavis sheet music?
I am looking forward to getting plenty of support from everyone, so here we go!!

I’ve been to RABBIT HASH ... if you pass through don’t blink.

It has an interesting history including a dog being elected mayor.

Here’s what makes me nostalgic - the beautiful (at least to us hams) Collins 75A4 / KWS1 radio station. Introduced around 1956, I drooled over the ads, but didn’t have a prayer of owning one as a kid (you had to be a pretty well-heeled adult also). Years later in 1968, we had 3 of these systems at the MARS station in DaNang, RVN, and we’d work the Hughes station in Ohio for hours every night allowing GIs to “phone home” from 13,000 miles away. Finally, around 1990, I was able to pick up the entire station, one piece at a time, refurbish it and use it on the air for many years before finally selling it to buy a satellite radio system. Kind of wish I hadn’t - they’re VERY collectible now. One of the finest radios ever built.

TriX-- I was actually thinking a bit ago, that if someone posted an old reel to reel tape recorder - it would be the kinks! But an old radio is right in the ball park!!

good job!

Yeah, a bunch of knuckleheads set the center of the bridge afire, so the owners removed the tracks for it became too heavy, as well as the ends of the structure to prevent anyone to get on it again.

Thanks for your kind words!

pg 1, wonderful start, love the old house, I look forward to all the vintage stuff, unfortunately I don't think I have anything to contribute, but I will look around.

You should post a shot. I got rid of my TEAC 4010 about 40 years ago when I moved to dbx encoded cassettes.
