You have hit it out of the park!!
The tractor looks very much like the first one I ever drove, (mowing at the cemetery).
The cash register looks like one Old Man Nickels had at his corner store, He finally closed it up about 1968.
And the corn on the cob, is an advertisement! Looks good enough to eat!

Thank you very much. We actually owned that tractor until a few years ago and used it to mow 10 acres with the finish mower attachment. I shot the register in an antique shop because it was so ornate, you do not see registers that beautiful today. The corn on the cob was being sold at an Indian Pow Wow we went to, good as it looks. Much thanks for your comments.

Ooops. (They didnt attach.)The first image has been shown in the Art Association I belong to. Mr. Brown was my best lifelong friend's Dad. He called me his other daughter. I'm nostalgic because Mr. Brown is gone, his car and barn are no longer the same. But I love this memory. The second image, I obviously played around with. I'll be back later.

Pg 2, love the barn pic so much going on, and the camera, what a gem lucky you!

Thank you Kay! I have not tried that camera yet. Just brought that one back from home a few months ago. I think I can still buy film for that one. Not sure yet.

I have seen a photographer that still uses a camera like this to create unique images. I think it may be Brooke Shaden. pg 3

The stories add to the sum of the picture...
Loved the Mr.Brown's barn, the car, the signs...
The old camera of your dad's has a few memories, too, I am sure.
thanks for showing!!

Your shots don't necessarily mean they have to be vintage...
they just need to remind you of times past,
to make you feel nostalgic...

nostalgia abounds with your post, my diseased aunt and uncle were long time doll collectors (house full) and travel to shows, etc. loved going to their house pg3

great collection. and your statement is correct. all of my images were new, of either old things or things that made me feel nostalgic, good clarification.

This is a fully reconstructed 50's diner, an old oil truck and some vintage gas pumps located at the Miracle of America Museum in Polson, Montana. This is one of the most eclectic museums I have ever seen, with virtually everything ever made in America represented somewhere in this sprawling, indoor-outdoor collection. Truly unique and fascinating.
