Where is there any proof of a connection between the NRA and Russia? Please don't tell me to Google it.

Mj's full of crap, don't expect an answer, although the NRA was working with the Russian woman who hoodwinked them it had nothing to do with the 2016 p**********l e******n, but Demonics and always let their imaginations run wild.

NRA has been collecting money from Russia for years. They do not hide it.

In December the guilty plea Thursday of a woman accused of infiltrating the National Rifle Association on behalf of the Russian government has thrust the powerful conservative group into an uncomfortable spotlight as the organization appears to be facing declining donations and signs its fearsome political influence may be waning.

Example 1.
Russian gun rights activist Maria Butina pleaded guilty in federal court in Washington to conspiring to act as an unregistered agent of Russia, admitting that she worked for more than two years to forge relationships with conservative activists and leading Republicans in the United States.

Example 2:

A May 2016 email to the campaign adviser, Rick Dearborn, bore the subject line “Kremlin Connection.” In it, the N.R.A. member said he wanted the advice of Mr. Dearborn and Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, then a foreign policy adviser to Mr. Trump and Mr. Dearborn’s longtime boss, about how to proceed in connecting the two leaders.

Russia, he wrote, was “quietly but actively seeking a dialogue with the U.S.” and would attempt to use the N.R.A.’s annual convention in Louisville, Ky., to make “ ‘first contact.’ ” The email, which was among a trove of campaign-related documents turned over to investigators on Capitol Hill, was described in detail to The New York Times.

Since the investigation by Congress started yesterday, there is plenty of grounds to continue to explore how much money they received ( not illegal) and how much of it went into political parties ( very illegal).

Means nothing, the Russians were looking for an angle for sanction relief, I am sure that they were making similar attempts with the Clinton campaign. Folks like you have contributed to the most successful covert ops campaign run by the Russians possibly since before the Cuban missile crisis. You i***ts have torn the country in half.

These facts should make you feel better, sleep better and generally comfort you. The Sanctuary State of Colorado issues concealed carry permits to qualified people. A person must fill out a form, pass a background check etc. The same is true in order to purchase a fire arm.

On the background check form for a firearm purchase the dimocrat controlled state (in all of its wisdom) asks if the applicant is a convicted felon. It also asks if the applicant has any outstanding felony arrest warrants and some similar type questions. How many people reply yes to the outstanding warrants question? Gotta go now so can't finish this but you may get the drift. Sleep well knowing you are being protected by liberal dimocrats.

Did you read the amendment that was rejected by the dems and do you still feel that it was just about ICE and not about public safety?

ICE on this amendment is nothing more than a red herring. The Democrats because of their hatred towards both ICE and their need to assert their power and control of the House over reason rejected an amendment that should have been supported. ICE was a minor part of the amendment and as you say, it was totally inconsequential because most i******s would never submit themselves to a background check.

Read the amendment that was rejected by the democrats. It requires notification to law enforcement of non eligible persons trying to acquire a gun, it would seem that in more rational moments this would be something that democrats would support.

Show me the data that indicates that I******s are submitting to background checks while trying to buy firearms.

I am not even talking about that, it was two lines on a one page amendment that was about gun control and public safety, the notification to local and state authorities of people not eligible to own a gun applying for permits, seems that it is in the community's interest for law enforcement to know when people legally deemed to not be allowed to own guns are seeking to purchase fire arms.

I think that you have characterized the amendment unfairly.

What is wrong with Russia wanting to “quietly but actively seeking a dialogue with the U.S.”? Do you not think that opening dialogue with a world power that has the ability to blow us all to smithereens is not a good idea? Do you think it is unwise and t*****rous to try to mend fences and find ways to resolve differences so that we are not nuclear adversaries?

I am not naive enough to expect Russia to deal fairly, openly and honestly with any beginning discussions, but it is a start. Your politically motivated alarmist hysterics serves no useful purpose except to try to keep dimocrat political hacks in power.

And, by the way, stop calling people turds.
