Whatever paper, ink and printer you all use, it is vitally important to also use the proper and specific icc profile for your choice. I'm a big fan of Red River paper and that's what I use in my Epson P800 along with OEM ink. I'm saving money as well as time printing my own work and I have complete control over the process. Best of luck.
I agree that Costco paper is really good. But, Costcos in the Los Angeles area no longer carry that paper. Is that true elsewhere? I've used the paper for years and very disappointed that I can't get it any more.

Did you mean to say rotisserie “chicken”? It is good!!
Clearly, his spelling chicken chicked his spelling.
Kirkland photo paper is a great value. If only my local Costco still carried it!

Order it from Costco online.
Ditto in northern NJ.
Let's look online to see if it still exists.
I would have to agree with Orrie Smith about Red River Paper. I use UltaPro2.0 and have had no problem. The blacks are good Dark black and the color is true. I print my own.
Some good ideas to pursue here. Many thanks, always open to better.
I agree ! If I order three ink cartridges from Canon I get a ton of free paper. You just can’t beat “free”. Also, the free paper makes the cost of ink palatable.
I love Red River Paper. They have metallic papers I use a lot. They also have large size photo paper and photo rolls. I tried them on a whim-and never go anywhere else. My printer is a Canon Pro 10.
I use Canon, Epson and Red River papers for photo printing. All with ICC profiles for my Epson photo printers, Canon paper with a custom ICC profile made with a ColorMunki. I don't use Costco paper now, but did when it was made by Ilford. Plus, 8.5x11 is not the usual size of paper I use a lot for clients portfolios, doing more 8x10 11x14 trimmed to 12. Then there is the difference between glossy and luster or pearl finishes.
On the photo side, I stay with Epson OEM inks, mainly so that's one less variable in my color workflow. I keep at least one extra set of inks for each printer, because I have run out before while printing a job.
My business printers are either mono laser or ink multifunction that use after market inks because they work fine and prints are not color critical.
