No where in my comment did I write "lousy photograph" Your comment, intentional or unintentional implies the rendition is lousy.

Saying there was "no effort" meant to me it was lousy. At any rate, saying it was a "picture" rather than a "photograph" misunderstands the meaning of "picture". Many pictures in any medium have a lot of effort involved.

To conclude this interaction, with a masters degree in communication, I know how to say "lousy" when and if I mean "lousy". As to the depicted photo requesting information for improvement, as "pictred" it showed nothing other than being something given no photographic efforts. It's simply a rendition of what was there.

A masters degree in communication and you don't know what the word "picture" means? Or that "pictred" is not a word at all?

You still refuse to address my main point. You said it was a picture rather than a photograph. Again, that is a false dichotomy. It is a photograph and a picture. All photographs are pictures. Painting, drawings, etc. are also pictures. You can't say a photograph isn't a photograph based on the amount of effort it took.

I like it as it is because of the mood it sets. I doubt many on here could duplicate it.

Hi,
I would remove the sparkles, remove all the background clutter, more light, possibly a different white balance. Put the phone on a stand/ tripod and use the timer to take the photo. How'd I do? 😛😉

The thing I don’t like are the dots. Of course there a lot of things you could do but apparently this was the look you were going for. And not a bad look at that.

I think the intention was a fun, candid shot of a beautiful young woman; that was successful. I wouldn’t repose it but it would have benefited from sharper focus.
