Nice shot. I said the same thing about a Disney cruise ship - a thousand running, screaming kids. : )

Thanks Jerry - glad you liked it. I was never on a Disney cruise, but the parks were pretty packed.

A favorite ride of my grandson. I'm not so sure about his mother or sister. Your picture is about as close as I'll get to that ride!
And I believe it's billed as the Hollywood Tower of Terror.

As for the cruise ship - didn't find it was overrun with children. Disney has lots of activities to keep the kids interested while the parents enjoy the cruise.

Thanks DragonsLady - I appreciate your comments. My daughters enjoyed this ride several many years ago, but the wife and I wanted no part of it then or now.

I went to Disneyland once with my family. Once was enough for me. I don't enjoy being jerked around in the dark where I can't see and a number of the rides are like that, especially that tower of terror. I don' t have any desire to go back. I might mention that I did lose a lens cap off my camera on one of the rides.

Thanks Bigmike - years ago I went on a Back to the Future ride that left me dizzy for about 45 minutes afterwards. Ive pretty much stayed away from them since then.

Nice...Looks like a fun ride, Bill...did you take the ride?!!

Thanks jederick - if you like these kind of rides I'm sure its a blast - they drop you straight down. I was okay with passing this one by, but liked the way the Hotel looked looming over the park.

Help me out here, first i assume this is at one of the Disney parks, which one? Second this is a ride? Love the pic very interesting 'hotel '. Thanks!

Thanks kay55 - glad you liked it. This is in Disney World's Hollywood Studios Park (Orlando, Florida), and the ride is known as the Tower of Terror. It seems to be a pretty popular ride.

Bill, did you try it? I have done it several times but at 84 I think I have had enough.
Great Image. Good job!
Don

Thanks Don - glad you liked it.

Nope - wasn't even tempted to go on this one. I'm pretty sure I would have left my stomach on the top floor.

Sorry i see it is world. But where is Disney World?

Disney World is in Orlando, Florida and is a major (perhaps preeminent) theme park.

The Hollywood Tower of Terror is located in DisneyLand in Anaheim, CA. Disney WORLD is located in Orlando, Florida
There are Disney parks also in Paris, France, and Tokyo, Japan .

I've never been to the DisneyLand, but this one is located at the Orlando theme park.

Thank you, obviously I have never been, something about that hotel really intrigues me.

Thanks kay55 - I really liked how this vaguely menacing hotel sort of loomed over the park, with the palm tree in foreground.

Very nice shot Bill. The composition, color and depth are outstanding.

Thanks SpyderJan - I appreciate your comments. I was a little fascinated with this "hotel", and am pretty sure I irritated my wife no end trying different compositions and angles.

This attraction is in Hollywood Studios Theme Park which is part of Disney World in Orlando Florida. There are several other Theme Parks (I think 4 of them) Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios that make up Disney World as a whole.

Should anyone have plans to go to Disney World, I would suggest stopping in at the Animal Kingdom park and spending time in Pandora, which is a pretty recent addition to the park. If you liked the movie Avatar, you'll love this park.

A very nice shot of this attraction. It is fun and not as scary as some rides. A lot of fun once you make it through the lines.
