A favorite ride of my grandson. I'm not so sure about his mother or sister. Your picture is about as close as I'll get to that ride!
And I believe it's billed as the Hollywood Tower of Terror.
As for the cruise ship - didn't find it was overrun with children. Disney has lots of activities to keep the kids interested while the parents enjoy the cruise.

Loc: I am from Gaffney, S.C. but live in Utah.
I went to Disneyland once with my family. Once was enough for me. I don't enjoy being jerked around in the dark where I can't see and a number of the rides are like that, especially that tower of terror. I don' t have any desire to go back. I might mention that I did lose a lens cap off my camera on one of the rides.

There are Disney parks also in Paris, France, and Tokyo, Japan .

Just discovered that the Anaheim version was shut down and closed in 2017. You can still ride it at Disney World and a different version, I believe, in Tokyo.

This attraction is in Hollywood Studios Theme Park which is part of Disney World in Orlando Florida. There are several other Theme Parks (I think 4 of them) Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios that make up Disney World as a whole.
