Chris, the people I know with a 6D2 think it works very well in low light. I think on paper the 5d mk iv is supposed to be better than the 6d (original) in low light, but one of the things I really liked about my 6d was that "it could see in the dark." I could find focus no matter how bad the light was. Those I know who upgraded to the 6d2 have told me it is just as good.

Oh, well, that's good, then, Selene … a review I read of the 6D2 indicated the Res was NOT as good as the 6D, and that the upgrade to 26MP actually HURT. But, anyway … I guess you can't believe all you read on the Net - huh, Selene? … I've no doubt the 5D4 is probably the BEST DSLR on the PLANET, currently - but not all of us can plonk down $3-4000 for a camera. Nice if you can, but, I'm not one of 'em - sad to say!

Wha!!!! ... The RP's no good for wildlife, Sergio? ... How so????

Agree - Shouldn't comment on something you have zero experience with - It's fantastic for sports and wildlife. Over 7 frames a sec (not bad) and a super fast & sharp AF with the new RF lenses and almost flawless EF performance with the adapter.

Not so sure I agree with THAT sentiment, Daniel. If one is considering something like the 6D2 (I am) - one should also be aware of the Mirrorless version which can be had for almost the same price. If the sentiment refers to sports and wildlife (two vastly different photographic categories - with the only mean denominator being required speed) I have shot professionally - in BOTH venues. BTW, my Sony a77 II is 12fps.

They BOTH have 26MP - which is the least Res publishers will now accept. But, the MILC is so much lighter, and it comes with an EF adapter, too (a $100 item) - thrown in for FREE!!! … What am I gonna do? …..

You don't know what you're going to do? I know. You make a thread on the UHH. You have no intention of buying either.

Oh, I don't know about that, Bebu - the only thing that stands between me and a 6D2 - is lack of funds!

But, hey! … One never knows what's around the corner - does one?

The original post poses a question, the answer to which was 'talk about it'.

The question now is, 'why did somebody resurrect a 4 month dormant thread?'.

Absolutely no idea, Bill ... but, the link to all my past Topic Threads is in my Signature, so anyone can browse them, at will. My thought is folks peruse them, occasionally, to see if there's something which interests them, or piques their curiosity. I have no problem with that, Bill ... and neither should YOU, either.
