Enjoy! I left Colorado about 6 years ago and do not plan to return. I loved CO while I was there but I have gotten very use to this Az weather. I never want to drive on ice and snow nor clear a driveway ever again! You may feel the same after Florida weather.

LOL
Not at all likely! I lived here for 13 months once and hated it. The heat, the humidity, the crowds, the flat vistas, the BUGS. Not my cup of tea. I much prefer the mountains, the scenery, the seasons, the wide open spaces with very few people. I even like the snow.......in moderation.

At least the power came on overnight and I have lights and hot water. Just no AC yet. Hoping that is working by afternoon.

I am originally from Wisconsin and also lived in Baltimore Maryland. I did live in Jacksonville Florida for about six months. That said, I hate snow and ice. The older I get, the warmer climes I prefer but still like the changing of the seasons. My youngest son and his wife moved to Bozeman Montana and we will only visit them during the summer months. They didn’t like the heat here in North Georgia. I like the hills and mountains here and the bugs as well since macro is my niche.

Update.
Sitting in Dallas at DFW, got an hour before my next flight. 78 FREAKING degrees here and I am still dressed for below zero! Still -5 back home. Can't wait to strip off and put on shorts and a t-shirt!!!!

Congratulations on the award. I love my Tamron lens. It's a great value for the money and does an exceptional job. You should have stayed in the DFW area a while longer. We're expecting another day in the 80's but stick around. Next week the temperature will be plunging down to 40 degrees again.....almost unbearable. Enjoy that Florida sunshine while you can.

Don’t you just LOVE air travel? That’s what I enjoy most about retirement - no more business travel 😺. Congrats on the trip MT - I hope the next few days are better.

Cheers

Congratulations on the award! I used to live in a high-rise on Biscayne Bay and worked on South Beach, great place; always loved Florida. (BTW, what lens did you sell the most?)

I can see some of those from here.

The #1 selling Tamron in my store is the 70-200mm F2.8 G2.
#2 was the 150-600mm G2
#3 was the 15-30mm F2.8 in both the original and G2 versions.
The 18-400mm crop sensor lens was fourth by only one lens sale.
Full frame cameras and lenses are king around here. VERY few M4/3's to be found and very few mirrorless in general.

A good friend of mine lives down the road from you in Red Lodge; he is also looking to break away from the weather and head my way (Phoenix). I do not miss the Montana winter weather a bit...

Congrats on the award. Just traded my Nikon 50mm for the Tamron 45mm. So much better...

Sitting at the airport here in Billings, MT waiting for my flight to Miami to attend the Tamron award seminar for the top 10 Tamron store sales employees of 2018. Its -7 here now, thats up from the -13 we had when I got up. Wind chills are -23 to -35. Its 76 in Miami so needless to say I am packed VERY light for the week! Still supposed to be very cold when I get back on Friday but the break from this will be nice.
I have 5 hours free Tuesday morning in South Beach if any UHH members might like to meet up.
Not going to miss this at all:

Do you ship Tamron lenses out to folks who buy them?
