Lesley, thank you and congratulations on an AWESOME challenge!
Like you, I've enjoyed viewing everyone's contributions...such a talented group!
Here are my final ones. Codorus State Park held it's annual "Winterfest"
recently, which we couldn't attend, but there was still one ice sculpture
standing when I went out the other day.
It's call "Eagle Plunge." (There is an active web cam of an
eagle's nest at the park.)

Thanks so much, Bob.
This is the first time I tried to "capture" ice sculptures, so
I was pleased with the outcome...next time, I'll play a little
more with composition, exposure settings, etc...that is, as
long as it's not 5deg F., like it was when I shot these....LOL

What a neat sculpture, what is the significance of the two wooden bead items, the cross and the one shaped like a bell with writing on it?? and do you know what happened to the rest of the sculptures??
You did a great job on these Tim.. Pg. 48

Thanks for the kind comments, Lesley, and I'm so glad
you like this set!
To answer your question about those other items; I think
the one is a rosary (I'm not Catholic, so perhaps someone
who is can verify that.)
The other one, the one with the writing on it, is actually some
kind of shell; someone left both items laying on the back
portion of the sculpture, and I hung the beads on the
sculpture. A lot of people hide or leave behind painted
rocks for other people to find and treasure, and I'm wondering
if that's the case with these two items.
Judging by what I saw on their web site,
(

I think there were only two ice sculptures, and I'm not
sure what happened to the other one.

Here are a couple more images from Codorus
State Park, or as the locals call it, "Project 70."
The last two images are begging me to turn them
into some kind of abstract art...anyone wanna have
a go at it? Please help yourself.
Tim
pg. 46
I like the empty boat docks.

I like the smoke coming from the power plant it somehow makes the image seem colder to me..Good set Sue..Pg. 43
Thank you. The EPA forced the Sammis plant to install pollution control scrubbers at the cost of over a billion dollars - what you are seeing is steam, not smoke.

Pg. 41 - Another beautiful series, Sue!
Now tell us the truth; did you run into that fence?
Hahaa!! Chuck would be very unhappy if I did!
