Are You Ready For The Superbowl. What's On Your Party Menu?

Lions fan here, they still don't have a ring. I know how Cubs fans felt all those years. Still waiting!
Neither do the Cleveland Browns have an appearance at the Superbowl. Known in the past years, to be the worst team in the NFL. Not too far away from Detroit.
As a veteran I don't bother with the NFL any more, and that recent missed call adds another reason to ignore them.
I will not watch the game
I'm going to enjoy my usual Sunday dinner at a restaurant nearby. They have a couple of small TVs in the bar, which is where I usually eat. I'm sure one, or both, will be tuned to the Super Bowl. So, I'll probably see some of the game. It'll be fun watching people making this out to be a bigger thing than it really is.

I just saw the TV weather News this morning. The temperature in Chicago, Illinois is minus 21 degrees. That is unbearable. Coldest I have ever experienced was minus 13, as a teenager. Walking about 1.5 miles in that cold was an experience I'll never forget. In Chicago now, I doubt there will be very few pizzas delivered. In past Superbowl Games. I have been invited out. And when I host, I have pizza, spaghetti, wings and of course. Beer. Another friend I know, says he has a family pot luck affair. Best Buy Stores have sent me countless emails, wanting me to buy a new TV on Sale. I like the one I have already. I saw a TV ad on Samsung's 65" Frame TV, selling for $2200. I imagine many were enticed to buy that TV, just in time for the Superbowl. I forgot, I have various chip dips. Cheese and bean. I think Tom Brady will win #6. IMO. Legendary Songstress Gladys Knight will sing the National Anthem. And others for Halftime entertainment. Enjoy the Superbowl everyone.

Love Harry Bosch
Yep, me too. In fact just 5 min. ago I got a notification from the library that said a book I had requested is in. It is the new Harry novel! So....I'm gonna brave the cold and go out. A good cause.
The problem with the Bosch books is that they don't last long enough. And they go even faster the second time you read 'em. All.
Name of the novel? On Amazon Prime ($) there are four seasons of Bosch episodes. Good stuff. Now Connelly is combining another detective (Ballard) with Harry in a novel. "Dark Sacred Night".
I've decided to forgo ANY sounds of the game this year....no commentary, NO half time show ( I hate bands that profess to have an agenda other then music.) I will listen to Jazz music, sip my whiskey, and turn the space heater on HIGH! GOD BLESS AMERICA!
For those of you, who prefer to read books, or do something else, rather than watch the Superbowl. It is your prerogative. The Superbowl will have 100 million viewers. Businesses from restaurants to Pizza Delivery drivers will make money. Tips to pizza deliverers have their best day. Friends and family will gather to eat some great food, and drinks. And rooting for a team. Not necessarily their home team. It's a event that happens every year. So, while those who prefer to read a novel, over watching the Superbowl. Enjoy it. Yes, the NFL has issues. But, I'll still be watching the game.
Don't forget the ' Puppy Bowl' will be on too!

Well my menu includes the Patriots winning and making me a very happy person. To all the haters out there, just remember how difficult it is to get to the Superbowl...I wish both teams good luck! But Tom Brady and company are ready for this game.
I don’t like Pat’s but give them their due! Most dominant team in the history of the NFL I pick the pat’s by at least 21 points! I’m a good ol Minnesota boy🤤
