One thing I have found out over the years of photographing surfers is that the pros SHRED! They surf far better than the average recreational surfer and it reflects in the photos by the amazing rooster tails they throw in their radical turns. These are much better viewed in download mode.

I always enjoy your surfing images. This set is very cool and very well done. #3 is an amazing image, but I was drawn to the 2 surfers in #4.

Bob, that last shot I worked over in Photoshop to really put some emphasis on the surfers and create a kind of dreamy state. Thanks Bob for checking this out!

NO!!!!! He did NOT wipe out. These pros are amazing as you can tell by my photos. The surfer in that photo seems inverted and he actually is. It's all about the speed to be able to do things like that.

Canon100-400L SeriesII. It's awesome and you can also use it for a portrait lens and have bokesh going on from 3' on.
