Sorry, got caught in that ice storm on the way home. Not a pleasant experience. I never got online last night. Will try again tonight. Gary

So, you were actually OUT in it, were you, Gary? ….

Not me … heard on the radio about all kinds of accidents, right near here - several cars, in separate incidents - flipped right over onto the roofs … not nice!!!! … Stayed home for the past two days …

Must have been hair-raising, huh? …

I wonder how your Snowy made out in all the mess ….

I work for a utility company. I'm always out in horrible weather. Driving home last night was crazy. It changed from snow to ice and it was dangerous. I used the entire reservoir of windshield washer fluid trying to keep the ice from building up. G

Oh, I see, Gary … then, no doubt - you drive a 4x4 - right?

Cars w/o even FWD - would've had a hard time of it … but, ones with FWD - may have been saved.

But, most definitely - if you're out in this kind of thing - all the time - you need a 4x4 ….

Anything less - is asking for trouble. But, I read, somewhere - even THOSE have trouble on sheer ice!!!

Oh Yes, a 4x4 is a must in my line of work. But, in the ice you can have all 4 wheels spinning out of control. You just have to drive slow. The trucks flying into the medians are just driving too fast. I'm going to PM you the pics of the seals

See - that's exactly what I read … even 4x4's have trouble w/ wheels spinning on ice ….

Thanks for sending me the Seals, Gary - I'll take a look, now …
