CS6 won’t recognize RAW files on my Sony a7Riii so they must be converted to dng files. The software to do that is free, but I found the conversion to be veeerrry slooooow. I’ve temporarily stopped routinely shooting in RAW, just in jpeg.

Hi Lukabulla, I have been using CS6 for years, and following a hard drive failure last year, lost my set-up programs. I also did not want to go to The Cloud - I can barely find my files on the desktop, how will I ever find anything in The Cloud?
I found Photoshop CS6 at this site for $40.00USD; I couldn't be happier!

Try Adobe DNG converter, it converts raw files to DNG. Then your Photoshop should be about to read the file.
Or you can get a copy of Elements and convert to PSD. Elements has a better raw converter anyway.
