In my quest to become all digital , I am looking at the KodakMini Digital Film Scanner, and the Kodak Scanza Scanner.
Any thoughts, suggestions in this area ?

Save your coins and get an Epson V600 or V850.

I agree with burkphoto, Epson is top of the line and the price is reasonable. I apologize but I don't know anything about the Kodak brand.

Epson makes very good scanners and printers. We have an All-in-One I bought 1 1/2 years ago - plugged it in and never turn it off. It just sits there and scans and prints with no problems.

Kodak is just a licensed name now.

The Epson V600 scans slides and prints and negatives. The driver software is excellent — once you learn it. $190 on Amazon.

I have an Epson V 550, excellent results, easy to use and less expensive ($160) than some of the fancier models.

The OP didn't specify film size. The Epson V600 will take film up to medium format....and does a nice job.

Get an Epson as suggested above. I have an earlier model V750 but very pleased with it.

Kodak used to sell some very good scanners like their RFS series but the 2 scanners the OP mentioned are not good.

I have to recommend Epson too. My ES-400 is so nice to work with.

Me too, I've scanned thousands of slides & b&w negatives of 100 years old. You won't be disappointed in Epson, mine a V500. Easy to use.

I have been using my V500 along with ScanSpeeder software with great results for a few years now. ScanSpeeder let's you scan several photos at once and then save them as individual files. Very easy to use, you can check it out here. I just upgraded to the pro version.
