I enjoyed the short time I took to play with these settings, I took several subjects in a short period of time, but saw little or no difference in most of them. this series showed slight differences I did forget to take one in the awb, duhh. all straight out of the camera, thanks for the challange I will contiune to try different settings .

kay, I have never done this but on this group we are here also to learn and believe me it has worked for me. Versus the local photo club here in town, people on UHH are willing and happy to share and teach. THUMBS UP to all of you.

I should bring a note book with me to write down the settings...DUH

Which one looks more like your eye saw? In this set, think I prefer #1 for color as well as the subject matter.

I chose to edit the White florescent image from my first set on Pg. 7 and The K5200 image from my second set.

Have you found that w fluorescent and tungsten it is hard to get the blues down and the warmer shades up?

pg 3, glass globe, really nice the differences, I like them all, I am very surprised at the differences, all pleasing. I tried something similar with a glass bird feeder outside, but I am not even going to post them as they all look the same to me. Could be the lower end camera ?

Not sure what camera you would have, K. But "lower end" ones usually have "scenes" and the scenes would use different white balances.

pg 4, I have learned a few things too, thanks for the challenge I only wish I would have had more time to 'play' thanks!

That's OK. The challenge raised awareness and gave us something else to think about when shooting.

pg 6, beautiful pictures, I like 2 and 3 although I think number 3 is maybe a little overdone might be better somewhere between 2 and 3 (just my opinion).

Yes, K, 3rd one was "cooked" - purposely. To show the extremes that are possible.

K I like cloudy and fluorescent H for your tree with the fungus - these 2 "pop" with a touch of warmth (reds/yellows). Thank you so much for your efforts and participation.
