Or big humans, a jogger was attacked and bitten several times while running on a sidewalk alongside a city street next to a wooded area here in the city a couple weeks ago.

That isn't normal behavior, I sure hope that the jogger was tested for rabies.

As they become accustomed to humans - they become less afraid to attack - the number of attacks is on the rise...

In Kansas, there is no closed season for trapping or hunting coyotes. Motor vehicles and radios in vehicles may be used to hunt coyotes only - and night hunting is legal for coyotes. They are a problem and need to be controlled.

You will not get any disagreement from me, they are dangerous "rodents" to my way of thinking.
However, I still hope the jogger was tested. Not just for rabies, coyotes eat prairie dogs, prairie dogs can carry plague

She went through the whole series of painful shots. She was lucky another jogger arrived and chased the animal away.

Coywolf. I was actually stalked by one when on a walk...called the sheriff's office and they said they were delighted to know where it had gone...they'd been tracking it. Coyote have moved to the Eastern mountains & the coywolf is gaining ground.

Why doesn't a reply line up with the comment one is replying to? Awfully confusing.....
