Thanks Jules. Really working on it, I want to be able to shoot inside
real bad. Thanks

It takes a lot of practice. I still have trouble. For sure my 70-200 2.8 vr needs to be upgraded, great lens just not for basketball.

I had rented a Nikon 70-200MM f/2.8G AF-S ED VR from my local rental shop. Thanks

Your getting better for sure. Second from last is your best one. Why? Filled the frame in camera, sharp, doesn't get any better than this.
Good stuff.

Agree with Jules here. I like the third one overall, if that arm was not covering the leg, it would be great

The green team was pretty good at it.
Your basketball images are amazing. I feel from looking at them, I am in the middle of the action. Superb!

Just looked at these again, they are good. If you shot these and got it right, you can do it again.

Take another look. What is the first thing you teach about playing defense? Be between the other team and the basket. Are the white players positioned on offense or defense relative to the basket?[/quote

You tell me. Did he cut in front of their offense or was he catching a pass from a teammate on offense?? Help us out raymondh. Thanks.

Tom[/quote]
The white team was on offense & the shooter was exploiting a gap to the basket.
