The green team was pretty good at it.
The first image if flagrant and that player should have been ejected from the game.

How can you tell from looking at that picture? No way to tell the context of the play. Are you assuming the player is shooting? My take looking at this is Of them all this one looks like the least flagrant. If you look at his hands his fingertips are on the wrong side of the ball to be shooting and the ball is too deep in his palms. It appears that he was jumping and catching? It also looks like the white team is on defense not offense based on them being inside the green players The green player looks more like he is bracing for a collision than trying to actually push the white player. Which happens with younger players who all have less skill and body control. I am guessing these are middle school age kids. Fouling is what they do because they don’t have the skill or body control yet. But that is just a guess from one frozen moment of a play. From having worn the stripes Context and Intent are important to whether a foul is flagrant or not. In this pic, foul? Yes. Flagrant? Too hard to tell.
Great pics though.

Really nice shots raymondh. The first shot looks like the white team is on offense. If the green player only had one hand on the white team players back I would give him the benefit of the doubt but two hands pushing nope FOUL! Show more good shots.

Hi pnittoly. Yes I shoot at the edge of courts. I shoot for MaxPreps.com. My outside photos are good but still trying to get inside shots right. These were hand held with Nikon D810. The first two are (ISO 1600, 1/800, f/2.8) the third one (ISO 2000,1/1000, f/2.8) Four, five and six are (ISO 2000, 1/800, f/2.8) Thanks

Take another look. What is the first thing you teach about playing defense? Be between the other team and the basket. Are the white players positioned on offense or defense relative to the basket?

You tell me. Did he cut in front of their offense or was he catching a pass from a teammate on offense?? Help us out raymondh. Thanks.

Tom:
Your getting better for sure. Second from last is your best one. Why? Filled the frame in camera, sharp, doesn't get any better than this.
Good stuff.

Hi Ray:
I don't know about the fouling. Like a poster said it's sometimes hard to tell from the pic.
This work is good.
