There's also that little conundrum whereas islamists can build mosques anywhere in the world, yet no other religion can build their house of worship in a muslim country. Hmmmmm????? How does that work,.........or not?

Muslims aren't persecuted? Buddhists aren't k*****g them in Burma, and Sri Lanka? Hindus aren't k*****g them in India?
They will be so happy to learn this. You're allowed your own opinions, not your own facts.

It doesn't, but it's not uncommon to find them together.

Are you aware public schools in Minnesota have to set aside a room for prayer for the Muslim

Is that a bad thing?

Candy canes, xmas trees, Santa, flying deer, snowmen, have NOTHING to do with the birth of Jesus. 'Christians' have as much or more to do with taking Jesus out of Christmas as any atheist ever did. All of that is pagan in origin. So stop blaming others. There is no 'war' on Christianity. It is instead the realization that we have been lied to ever since the 'Church' was invented.

I believe that Jesus taught acceptance and love as the basis of life. It now appears that some professing Christianity do not show this. This looks like time for a Jesus enema.

some? certainly not all, but more than some.

I believe the question was who are the Christians persecuting today

Do Christians want a prayer room? Are you sure this is a law, or is this a practice one place that you are aware of? I wouldn't require a school to provide it, but if they can afford to, and want to, it seems like a nice idea. I don't know if you smoke, but if you don't, do you get all out of shape when smokers get to take a smoke break? Jealousy and envy are hardly ever good things.

Christians have very good PR. If you google anything about who Christians are persecuting, you get all kinds of s**t about who is persecuting Christians. I know that just a few years ago Christians were k*****g Muslims in what used to be Yugoslavia. Seems Christians kept a Mosque from being built near "ground zero".

Someone posted that she has since been fired. Maybe she deserved that, maybe she didn't. The story seems very incomplete. If this was part of a pattern, or if she was talked to and wouldn't budge, I can see firing. If it was one case of bad judgement, It seems extreme.

Article in news today said administrative leave. And under pressure she issued an apology about it.

No just a segregated thing. Would you say the same if Jewish students wanted the same or Christian students?

Try and build a church in a muslim country. How do you think that would go over?

We’ve got 11 pages of posts in this thread that illustrate quite well the d******eness that religion brings to human existence. That, and politics, are the drivers of all conflict on this planet. And they will be our demise if we don’t learn tolerance and figure out how we all can get along with one another.
