I lean more to larguggan's input. Soften the color as not to distract but to keep it from drawing the viewer's eye from your center of attention. It can add some 'flavor' but not be the focus of your composition. I like the way you created the photo overall, would love to get there some time. thanks

The eye is draw to the rock,taking attention away from overall scene.better without it
I would crop out most of the rocks up to the shoreline on the right corner. Maybe include more sky if there is any in the original. These suggestions assume the mountains are your main subject.
I found the red rock distracting. My first glance was at the water and the mountains but the red rock quickly drew my attention away.

You don't need to have your eye drawn to the far lower corner. You need to have your eye drawn to the mountains and the sky.
