Converting raw files

ajust a note about my experience with the DNG converter. When I got the Sony a6000, its raw files could not be opened in PS CS4, naturally, but there was a version of DNG that could convert them. Then I got the Sony a6300 and found no DNG version could convert its raw files. Much to my surprise I was able to open them in the MacBookPro Preview application and then able to save as TIFF which PS CS4 could open.
