Xmas music assaults the aural sensibilities of anyone
who has any knowledge or understanding of music. If
this music had any merit it would be played all year.

There are many varieties of Christmas music. Most internet music sites will have various categories from which to choose, allowing one to find those that meet his/her preferences.

The UK's ClassicFm has started playing Christmas music - just a bit right now but will be gaining in frequency as the Day gets closer and then for several days after. If Christmas music was played year-round we wouldn't appreciate it.

Great idea! Christmas music year-round!
Actually, two weeks is about all I can take. I'll start listening to it on XM, Pandora, and Internet radio in a few days. As SteveR said, there are many kinds of Christmas music, with radio stations available to hear the various kinds.

YES. I hate the xmas term. Personally, I think there is some very good Christmas music and of course there is plenty of silly and crappy Christmas music. On of my favorites you almost never hear is Father Christmas by Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. If you have never heard it, I know you can find it on Youtube. It amazes me when people complain about Christmas music. They can listen to whatever music they enjoy all year long, day after day and think nothing of it.

Yes! Nobody should object to the use of "Xmas". Feel free to have a go at those using "Holidays" or similar.........

So, are you trying to tell us that the OP is of Greek ancestry with a touch of Latin-Old English thrown in? I find there are so many things to occupy oneself with that are of grave concern in this world but never thought Christmas (yes, Christmas not Xmas) music was not anywhere on that list much less near the top and worthy of a rant.
