Wow, Corky! Those are wonderful! I can never find butterflies that land and am no where near a butterfly world.

Thanks, Katy and also thanks for looking! Most of my butterfly posts were taken in our backyard where we have many flowers blooming from spring through fall, but if you have a little room for even some potted Lantana or other flowers that bloom frequently then that should bring at least a few in and as time goes by more will begin stopping by. If you have room to plant some shrubs, then a butterfly bush (you can purchase some dwarf ones to save on space if needed) and also several varieties of lantana will survive down to zone 6 temperatures when planted directly in the ground and although the tops will die in freezing weather it will come back from the roots and by fall will be larger than some shrubs, but you should check with the plant nurseys to ensure that they are not considered invasive in your area. There are many other flowers and shrubs that will attract them and some even serve as host plants such as milkweed does with monarchs but butterfly bushes and lantana will give you a good start. Again, thanks and always great to hear from you. Take care!

Thanks for the kind words and the three thumbs, Ron and know I've heard both you and Earl mention this and it's very surprising
considering all the wildlife and other insects that you have!... Sure hope that you are feeling better and take care!
