Hi, I shoot with a Nikon D750 and a Canon EOS 1. At this time I only have the 24-85 Nikon lenses and am disappointed with basically everything about the lenses. I wish to upgrade with either zooms or fixed range lenses. I don’t mind used lenses. At this time my budget is 2K. Suggestions please. Thanks
I love landscape photograph. That is my primary focus at this time.
Is your current 24-85 a 2.8 version? The Nikon 24-70 f2.8 is a classic. A wider, but more expensive (unless you find a good used one) 14-24 f2.8g. You could also find similar lenses made by Tamron and Sigma. As I do not use Tamron or Sigma, I know nothing about them. The two Nikon lenses are excellent.
Hi, it is the 3.5-4.5 a very low quality lenses.
I would suggest you check out the above lenses. You also may be interested in some primes.... 20mm or 24mm.
Thanks for your suggestions.
What is an "EOS 1"? Do you have no lenses for this camera? A Canon 1D series body will be excellent, regardless of specific model, but I sense from your vague reference this is not the professional model you're referencing.
Your D750 is an excellent all around, full-frame camera. You'd probably be best served focusing on just the Nikon system given the quality of this body. You should also look at used lenses to stretch the effectiveness of your budget.
Sorry, I shoot film with the Csnon EOS 1. I have lenses for the film camera. I am just looking for suggestions for the Nikon 750. With the professionals on uglyhedgehog I feel like I can get some great suggestions for new lenses for the Nikon.

The Nikon 14-24 2.8 is pretty sharp lens that sells around $1800 new.

The Tamron 10-24 might not be f2.8, but is quite sharp and not as expensive.
