The US entered the war because it was attacked. In fact it was isolationist prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor. Isolationism is diametrically opposed to nationalism.

Nationalism is the belief that one nation is superior to another and therefore has the right to subject other nations. Patriotism on the other hand is a belief that one adheres to a nation's principals or underlying beliefs.

Brexit is a case in point - that when you allow the press to publish lies told by politicians WITHOUT the reporters checking the facts, you sway public opinion and no-one takes any notice of later 'corrections' that are made. For the v**e on Brexit we were told 'getting out' was easy - it isn't. We were told it would 'save us money' which any fool should know is untrue. The cost of removing EU stamps from virtually 'everything' and refinancing 'EU' grants and payments is going to cost us billions and make huge financial profits to bankers and financiers.

They didn't ask us to v**e to save The Bank of Scotland.....They simply cut Benefits off the poor and disabled...(Read the UN report that says just how badly 'poor' people are in our country.) That was a knock on effect of the US financial crash. So how are you treating your 'poor'.

The Government does 'what it wants' for the people that pay them.... business and financiers.

Brexit is a limited rewriting of our membership of the EU....a few 'headlines' in return for losing our 'v****g privileges and powers'. For someone who boasts as much as you do about knowing all about world politics, I have to tell you that you don’t have a fricken clue about these illegal invaders trying to enter our country. Many democrats, including Obama the S**thead, have called for letting them all in. Obama said the invasion shouldn’t even be on our radar, with only 7,000 poor people trying to make a better life for themselves, and that America could assimilate them easily across our country. However, in case you haven’t noticed, and my money is on you being clueless about damned near everything,the vast majority of common Americans on both sides of the aisle do not want these people in our country.
