Can't remember exactly but I think it wasn't far from the Tampa area, a woman was killed by a gator as she walked her dog near a lake. Happen about 2 - 3 months ago.

Gator tail tastes like a cross of chicken white meat and a very fine touch of mild fish. Weird combo, but yummy. Yes they are very fast. I saw one about 14-15 feet long at Budweiser in Florida, and the woman next to me thought it was dead. I said watch this, and I barked like a dog and it came right over to the fence. Woman left in a BIG HURRY. My in-laws lived in Lakeland and their neighborhood lost several dogs over a short time. State game people came and shot a big one and the lost dogs stopped.

It tastes like fish and chicken mixed. Very light and yummy, but chewy. Had it at Red Lobster # 1 store in Lakeland FL.

Tried crocodile once (I asume it tastes the same as gator) once was enoiugh. Bad shoe leather.
