I began working in my Dad's small independent market at age 9 (1946) until he passed at a young age of 41 (1953). He began to train me as a butcher at age 12. By the time I was 13, I was cleaning chickens, opening up the gizzards and emptying the "chicken s---". So, my reaction to your favorite meal was not desire. Yuk!
