Nothing we can say will make the Dems stop attacking Trump. He could cure cancer, and they would complain that he is putting Oncologists out of their jobs. The real issue was that the Secret Service grounded Marine One because of very low, almost zero visibility, (meaning cloud coverage almost to the ground). Trump himself suggested to the SS that they drive to the event. The SS nixed that because it was too far from the airport, and there was a large traffic shutdown in Paris that would have delayed the one and a half hour (one way) trip even longer. The Dems spin this to make it look like the President was afraid his hair would get wet! They should have come up with something a little more believable, since the next day he gave a speech in a cemetery just outside of Paris in the pouring rain.

Yes, it can function under extreme conditions - and would most likely fly during an extreme emergency. This was not an extreme emergency. But, I'm not surprised you think Trump should risk his life. You would probably be one of the first to throw a huge party in celebration if he crashed and died.
