With my eye, I can't tell a dime's worth of difference between the two images.

I see a difference in the two shots. All you would have to do is to adjust the brightness slider, high light or white slider in PP, or the exposure and they would look the same on the internet. Look at the cushion on the left, in #1 it has no snap, dull, compared to #2. If the exposures are the same the only difference that could be seen would more then likely only be seen on an actual print and it would be seen in the blending of the colors not in brightness.

I see what you mean in the cushions...this is exactly the same shot, but the second one has the sRGB profile assigned...if I were to print them, which is best to print..RGB or sRGB...thank you!!

The problem on UHH is you have a compressed thumbnail and then a download. If color space is not sRGB, the thumbnail often looks far different from the download - and not in a good way, lol. Here's one with a huge difference:

Some web articles suggest RGB is best for printing. I've never compared

Good question. sRGB is better for the web, I still use RGB on my Flickr account but I should probably be posting in sRGB. I use RGB on all printed files. BTW, that is a very good grouping of colors for your test!

I see a brighter image in #2. More contrast? Different white balance? I can't tell the difference with the RGB and sRGB. Both shots are very appealing, but I would pick #2 if I had to choose. It just looks a little sharper IMHO.
