I work for a greeting card company and yes, I don't like having to put out Christmas right after Halloween either. But we have out Thanksgiving cards as well. That's just retail nowdays.

Yes, too soon. When I was young (1940s and 50s), Christmas was promoted after Thanksgiving, not before.
Now we have lost Thanksgiving.

Call and write letters of protest. I have done so and told them that if they do this sort of thing I will not shop there.

Don't get me started. I'm definitely tired of all the reruns of political ads on TV....glad the midterm elections are over.
Now that the 2018 election is over we will have a reprieve of three or four months before they start in with the ads for the 2020 election.

I have a number of programs on my DVR that were recorded before the election. I'm planning on saving them so I can go back whenever I want and watch the political ads again when I start missing them. That should tide me over until the 2020 ads start up.

It gets worse. By the week before Christmas, most stores are already discounting their decorations to clear them out for the next year. X-mas is nearly year-round.

I went to our Walmart on Halloween, looking for some mittens I could use this winter for photography. Most of the Halloween stuff was still up. I went back the next day for something I forgot. WTF, That same Christmas Tree was out in front and all the Halloween stuff was gone. They already had fake Christmas trees in the garden center in September. Way, Way too soon. I haven't even thought about turkey yet.

Too Walmart and other marketers, Thanksgiving is a suggestion. Christmas shopping starts on New Years Day.

Its way too early even if they put that stuff up in mid December!!
And a day after Christmas, they put the easter eggs on the shelves!
