I enjoy everyones imput and am learning a lot. There is some very smart folks an here and I am looking forward to learning from every one.
Just to let you know I am an old guy and have been retired for a couple of years now. So if I get grumpy from time to time - pay no never mind to me.
Looking forward to the adventure or whatever happens out there and all the good people on the forum.

Welcome Dave, I too am a 68 year old Retiree of FoMoCo. I have had a few cameras over the years, but the Digital age has been a real learning process for me, especially " Post-Processing" of my images. I still am shooting Jpeg images, due to RAW seems to intimidate me greatly. I do hope to change that. Hopefully you too will progress in your Photography journey and enjoy as you go.

Thank you jerryc41,NormanTheGr8,DAN Phillips (glad you still around),Silverman,joehel2,photophly,for welcoming me. I hope to learn more about digital. As a former film pog, things were simpiler then. Now there is so much to understand. But there is an advantage to being retired, if it gets to complicated you can just say "screw it" get up and get a beer.
