Definitely #1. The clouds, the curved lines of the field and the fence in the foreground make it a much bette photo.
I'm going with #1; the perspective is spot on.
No. 1 Because the foreground fence anchors the photo and heightens the sense of layering and distances. But to my eye , both photos are toooo contrasty and too dark.

The 1st one is more dramatic.
I think #2 looks better. The fence to the right look confusing. The stubble between the fence posts tends to create a optical illusion that the fence is background and the lighter stubble is the foreground because the value of the stubble is lighter. If this problem could be fixed, I'd like #1 better.
The first photo is more ominous with the cloud formation.
My preference is #1. I like the foreground...it draws me into the photo and gives balance. Just my thoughts.
