The tax now collected by B&H has been discussed on the UHH forum on at least two previous occasions.
You should try READING the forum posts once in a while, pal.

If all we were allowed to talk about was stuff that had never been discussed before UHH would have to close up. Why be so grumpy. Just skip over it if it's not of interest to you. Obviously some people are interested in the topic.

I've been getting email from eBay for months about this. Having to pay an extra 5 - 10% on top of the purchase price is not going to help their business. The politicians know better, though. With all that extra tax money, we will have great roads, safe bridges, and better living in general. Aren't you glad you elected them?!

Oh heck yeah. Maybe if they took all our pay we'd live in Utopia. Naw, they'd still want more. Never enough.

You are so right. We live in a real $hithole. Everyday life in the US is terrible. Look how much better life is in Central America, Mexico. The Balkan countries, North Korea, China, Russia, SouthEast Asia. Yeah, we have it really hard.

100% agree. I'm planning to retire to Guatemala. It's very inexpensive
to live there, but my first priority in selecting it was safety. >Alan

I wish the title stated that B&H now COLLECTS sales tax. They are simply observing the law.

I just opened up my B&H shopping cart and saw that Sales Tax had been added. B&H has no physical presence in Kentucky and I have ordered tax free in the past. When did this change take place? Are there any other large online retailers that still don't charge sales tax?

I'm sorry this caught you by surprise. The answer posted by rwilson1942 is accurate. This is the result of a Supreme Court decision. It is not optional and it applies to all retailer.
