Nice set of photographs. I belong in the "un-silky" camp, and I especially like how the more realistic photo turned out in black and white. There was not much color to be found in the original photo so black and white is the perfect choice.

I like the first two, but the third picture is more my style. I dont really care for the "silky" water look as it seems unreal. But all three images are very good.

Thank you again to everyone who commented! I found it very interesting and informative how people voted on silky vs unsilky water. While I still prefer the silky water look, the unsilky folks won this vote by a large margin. I plan to take more short exposure water shots in the future.
