I have reading posts on here blaming this on USA politicians with no proof what so ever but what is a fact is that some people some where has been working to put this in action for some time - promoting and paying for this to happen - massive propaganda had to been circulated to recruit this number of people with some kind of financial backing, support and promise these people believe - not knowing they are and have been fed B--- S--T- the end results are going to be drastic for 1,000s.

Ok, Harvey, lets not make assumptions about what you think that I think, that is where the BS comes in. I never said they live in rags and filth you said that. I am saying that after days on the road, with no help, they would not look like this, someone is taking care of them and according to the left, it is the left. I well understand what you are saying/asking - I just would like to see proof of who is behind/sponsoring this - saying it is the left as well as "they" say it is "So and So" don't cut it- this had to have been a well known/published event - like you say it did not just happen over night.Why are there not proof against these organizers rather than those duped into participating in this horrible event.

I know this area quite well - I drove the inside route along the Gulf - Vara Cruz and such to Baliz- and lived on the Yucatan for 5 yrs - there always has been a problem of folks coming thru Guatemala from all of SA much less the rest of the world - this is much different as "someone"/some group is paying some big $$$ and their names need to hit the press and they need to be made accountable for their actions - saying it was the left just don't cut it with me.

I find it so ridiculous that some many supposed intelligent people can not understand the word illegal and that there is a procedure to go thru to keep from being "illegal" - I went thru that procedure when I moved to MX for 5 yrs -I had to prove I was not a criminal and had a way to support myself without taking a job in MX -I saw other "gringos" over staying their visa and trying to find work - soon they were caught, jailed and deported or got tired of dodging cops and not haveing any money and just disappeared with their belongings in the dark of the night. The legal process takes time and a little money but then it does make one a legal immigrant.
