What's bad: the filter jiggled everything the same, making it jarring and boring (a surprising possibility!) at the same time. I think if you alter some things, perhaps making some areas more blurry, overlaying parts of the original-----just playing around until the variety of the filtering complements the variety of the forms, you will have something that pleases you and others.
