Just before leaving the hotel I took a shot over the sea from my balcony of a house called ‘Golden Farm’ named as it was surrounded by golden corn. The original building dates back to the 13th century and brought up to modern Palladian style facade in the 18th century. It is rumoured that Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton used to visit the house!
Full stretch of the Tamron 400 to reach the house and cropped.

The local Police Station was formerly used as a British Army Barracks.

Canon 650 D, 10-18 lens, Tamron 18-400 lens.

Sylvia, another fantastic set showing off the ability of this camera and set of lenses. It shows what a Photographer's Eye can due with any equipment available. I always remember what fantastic photos were taken by a man named Adams.

I agree with Carol, always a great "sense of place." For composition I am particularly drawn to your Cales Fonts. Love the light and that one massive mast

Thank you so very much Linda, so pleased you also feel a sense of place. Always try to mix things up when possible. Cales Fonts is only small with restaurants around the harbour, some built into the rock face. It has a lovely feel to it. The light was funny that day changed very quickly, the massive mast shot was taken shooting into the sun.
