Just before leaving the hotel I took a shot over the sea from my balcony of a house called ‘Golden Farm’ named as it was surrounded by golden corn. The original building dates back to the 13th century and brought up to modern Palladian style facade in the 18th century. It is rumoured that Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton used to visit the house!
Full stretch of the Tamron 400 to reach the house and cropped.

The local Police Station was formerly used as a British Army Barracks.

Canon 650 D, 10-18 lens, Tamron 18-400 lens.

Sylvia, I greatly appreciate your skill in capturing the beautiful places you visit. Your photography is always very well done so that you share the best parts of what you see. I always feel that I have, to some extent, shared in the experience.

I agree with Carol, always a great "sense of place." For composition I am particularly drawn to your Cales Fonts. Love the light and that one massive mast
